Description
The Segway Navimow X450 is an all-wheel-drive, wire-free robot lawn mower for lawns up to 1.5 acres (about 65,340 sq ft). Like the X430, it navigates with Segway’s EFLS 3.0 system, which combines network RTK positioning with 360° vision and visual-inertial odometry (VIO).
What stands out
- Bigger battery, same hardware: it shares its drivetrain, navigation and cutting system with the X430 and adds the battery capacity for larger lawns.
- Steep-slope capability: 4WD with zero-turn steering is rated for slopes up to 40° (about 84%).
- Wide 17-inch cut: a dual-deck, 12-blade system cuts at heights up to 4 inches. EdgeSense trimming tidies borders.
- Automatic mapping: it can map the lawn without you walking the boundary.
Who it’s best for
Choose the X450 if you have a hilly lawn between 1 and 1.5 acres. For lawns of an acre or less, the Navimow X430 gives you the same performance with a smaller battery.
